We are a family of four; John, Claire, Jacob and Skye from the UK with a love of travel. We’ve always kept diaries of our adventures and since having our eldest son Jacob, have written these through his eyes. We’ve started this blog to document our trips and hope to convey the challenges and opportunities travelling with two small children presents. We more or less rejected the idea that having children meant we had to settle for holidays on some Mediterranean beach, and prefer to get in the car and see what we can find.

In January 2020, Claire was made redundant from her job. John is currently on leave with the children. We had been planning a trip around Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Montenegro but this has been thrown out of the window completely and instead we are going on a road trip…a big one.
